Looking for Valentine’s Day plans on the North Fork?

You might be approaching the last minute, but don’t worry, northforker has you covered. Here are special menus, tasting events and more set to coincide with V-day.

A Lure and aMano

Both A Lure in Southold and aMano in Mattituck will be offering three-course prix-fixe menus both Friday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 14 to celebrate Valentine’s weekend. The menu is $35 per person from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and $55 per person (includes a glass of Sparkling Pointe Cuvée Carnaval) from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. A Lure’s menu can be found here and aMano’s menu can be found here.

The Birchwood of Polish Town

Birchwood is offering a three-course prix-fixe along with a chocolate fountain and Viennese table. The cost is $49.99 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Call (631) 727-4449 for reservations.

Caci

Calypso St. Barth

Feel like buying yourself a little Valentine’s Day present? Then head to Calypso St. Barth’s and Vines and Branches “Palate Party” on Sunday, Feb. 15. Visit the Front Street clothing store for 20 percent off all purchases and olive oil and vinegar tastings. The event runs from 2 to 5 p.m.

Castello di Borghese

Enjoy an elegant seven-course dinner prepared by chef Noah Schwartz paired with the vineyard’s new 2013 reds. The event, set for Feb. 14, is $200 per person (or $180 for wine club members.) There will be passed hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. with seating at 7 p.m. To reserve a spot call (631) 734-5111.

Clovis Point

East Wind 

The Wading River catering hall, spa and inn will host its annual Valentine’s Day dinner dance on Feb. 14 from 7 to 11 p.m. Bring your sweetheart and enjoy dinner, four-hour premium open bar and music by Long Island Sound Entertainment. Giorgio’s

Join Giorgio’s for a night of dinner and dancing. The evening will include four hours of premium open bar, a DJ and a four-course meal. Tickets are $79.95 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (631) 727-6076.

Greenport Harbor Brewing Co.

Bring your valentine (or find a new one) at Greenport Harbor Brewing Co.’s Peconic location. Fork and Anchor and North Fork Chocolate Company will provide snacks and treats. Robert Bruey will perform. The event runs from 2 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 14. No admission and no reservations are required.

Jedediah Hawkins Inn

Jedediah Hawkins Inn is offering a $79 price-fixe (standouts for us include the 28 oz. dry aged porterhouse for two and crispy duck leg and honey-thyme glazed duck breast.) Call (631) 722-2900 for reservations.

Laurel Lake Vineyards

Laurel Lake is hosting a pre-Valentine’s Day wine pairing dinner at the Laurel vineyard on Feb. 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. Chef Chris Richards of CJ’s American Grill will prepare a four-course meal. Tickets are $60 ($50 for wine club members). Call (631) 298-1420 for more info.

Long Island Aquarium

Enjoy a five-course meal with wine and chocolate at Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center on Friday, Feb. 13. The event begins at 8 p.m. and the cost is $180 per couple. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (631) 208-9200, ext. 426.

Noah’s

Chef Noah Schwartz will prepare a five-course special Valentine’s Day tasting menu for $75 (with wine pairings, add $30). The menu includes items like seared filet mignon with foie gras and roasted root vegetables in a cabernet franc reduction or butternut squash ravioli with ricotta, shaved Parmesan and hazelnut sage brown butter. The Suffolk Theater

Go see an old-fashioned girlie review when Coney Island Burlesque takes The Suffolk Theater stage on Friday, Feb. 13. Tickets are $32 and can be purchased here. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Sparkling Pointe

Sylvester Manor

Local bluegrass group Eastbound Freight will perform at Shelter Island’s American Legion Hall (due to icing at the manor) on Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.
