See tiny interpretations of the great outdoors with Small Works: The Botanical Exhibit on display at Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery & Studio.

All photographs in the show are 14 inches or smaller and feature nature’s flora, said gallery coordinator Alex Ferrone.

“We chose to do a small works show at the end of the year because it’s appropriate with the gift-giving season,”  Ferrone said. “People might want to start someone’s collection with something small and they are more affordably priced to give as gifts.”

Each of the 15 photographers will feature three photos for a total of 45 pieces in the show.

Works from the following photographers will be on display: Karen Celella; Rich Faron; Scott Farrell; Alex Ferrone; Richard Gardner; Nijole Kudirka; Jacques LeBlanc; Michael McLaughlin; Chris Randall; Jim Sabiston; Steven Schreiber; Jeff Schultz; Jim Slezak; Mary Trentalange and Alex Vignoli.

An artist’s reception will be held Saturday, Nov. 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. Wine will be provided courtesy of the Long Island Wine Council and light bites will be served. The show is sponsored by Abatelli Realty & Appraisal Services.

The gallery is also collecting personal care items for families in need to donate through the non-profit organization CAST.

View the exhibit until February 15, 2015. The gallery is open Thursday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. or by appointment by calling (631) 734-8545.

Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery & Studio is located at 25425 Main Road in Cutchogue.
