Have a hankering for a Coup De Ville grilled chicken sandwich or ribs from Joe’s Garage and Grill in Riverhead but don’t have enough time during the week to make a visit there for lunch?

Well, you’re in luck: The Peconic Avenue restaurant, which opened earlier this year, is launching a delivery and business catering service Wednesday, Oct. 1.

“Our vision is to be more accommodating,” said Brianca Mazo, who handles marketing for the eatery. “We understand people don’t always have all the time in the world to come down to the restaurant on their lunch break. So if we can bring Joe’s to them, I think that’s a great thing.”

The new delivery service enables customers to order from a large variety of menu items, including appetizers, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Free delivery is included with any order over $50, Mazo said.

It will be offered from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with free delivery to anyone ordering within the hamlet of Riverhead, she said. Customers outside of those parameters can still order for delivery but may incur a delivery charge, she said.

Companies or parties of at least 10 people can also order from the casual eatery’s new business catering menu, which includes free delivery. Packages come with a choice of breakfast or lunch items, including homemade sandwiches, salads and cookies. There are also barbecue platter options.

In addition, customers can call in their orders from Joe’s Garage and Grill’s full menu and pick them up at the restaurant seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Mazo said.
