Celebrating craft beer from the North Fork and beyond, Great South Bay Brewery is hosting its second annual Bay Fest this weekend and we recommend checking it out.

Featuring more than 20 breweries and 50 beers from across Long Island — including the Riverhead’s own Crooked Ladder Brewery —Bay Fest is all about bringing craft beer lovers together.

Last year, Bay Fest was the kick off for Long Island Craft Beer Week, however the seven-day celebration will no be repeated this year, organizers said.

Nonetheless, the festival promises to be a beer drinker’s dream with dozens of tastings and food from Patchogue’s Bobbique.

VIP tickets are $55 in advance, or $65 at the door. The tickets grant event goers 45 extra minutes inside the festival starting at 12:45 p.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m.

General admission is $40 in advance, or $50 at the door. The price allows event goers access from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Designated driver are $15. (Buy tickets here)

Bay Fest will be held Saturday, May 10 at Great South Bay Brewery, located at 25 Drexel Drive in Bay Shore. (map it)
