Guitarist, poet, songwriter and feminist icon Ani DiFranco is taking the stage at Riverhead’s Suffolk Theater next month.
With more than 20 years in the music industry Ms. DiFranco has a style all her own. Although she identifies herself as a folk singer, her songs span genres being classified as both folk rock and alternative rock with hints of punk, funk, hip hop and jazz influences.
The Grammy award-winning artist is known for her clever lyrics, guitar riffs and soulful voice.
Ms. DiFranco will perform at the Suffolk Theatre, located at 118 E Main Street in Riverhead, on Sunday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. (map it)
