The display case at The Baker’s Workshop always has us drooling, but especially after 1 p.m. when prices are slashed in half.

Not a lot of people know about The Baker’s Workshop in downtown Riverhead. Fewer people know that they slash prices in half after 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Baker’s Workshop is the work of pastry students at the Suffolk County Community College Culinary Arts school on East Main Street. (map it!)

From the red velvet cupcakes to the fudge brownies, we can’t get enough of it. Check it out Monday through Friday and support a great (and tasty) program.
