East End Arts will host its next member showcase this Saturday.
Debbie Tierney, a linocut artist from Brookhaven, will create her art at the East End Arts gallery in Riverhead as the public wanders in to meet her and see examples of her craft.
During the showcase, Tierney will demonstrate the process of linocut from the inception of the idea, while sharing other drawing, carving, and printing techniques. Also available will be some of Tierney’s matted prints for sale with the blocks she used to create them.
East End Arts encourages the public to stop by between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to check out Tierney’s demonstration as well as her special matted prints that are for sale.
