The wineries across the North Fork will have lots going on this Veterans Day weekend with the Taste North Fork promotion and free shuttle buses.

One event on Sunday Nov. 10 at Waters Crest Winery in Cutchogue stands out among the pack: Cooking with Chef Tom Schaudel.

From 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, guests will sample two Waters Crest wines while enjoying a cooking demonstration by one of the North Fork’s most renowned chefs.

Chef Schaudel will also share stories from his latest book “Playing With Fire: Whining and Dining on the Gold Coast.”

Tickets cost $35 and reservations are encouraged by calling 631-734-5065.

A signed copy of “Playing with Fire” is included in the ticket price.

Waters Crest Winery will be a stop for the shuttle buses and they are also offering free shipping on bottle purchases throughout the weekend.
