Sample shucked, local oysters and delicious hors d’oeuvres while relaxing at historic Kimogenor Point for the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund’s Oysters by the Bay event this Saturday (Aug. 31).
The waterside evening celebrates the bounty of the North Fork by land and by sea with shellfish perfectly paired with local wines and champagne.
Displays from local artists and soft melodies of classical violin and cello will also be a part of the evening, not to mention the panoramic views of Peconic Bay.
The evening will also include a silent North Fork art auction and raffle drawing.
Oysters by the Bay is Saturday, Aug. 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Clubhouse at Kimogenor Point, located at Jackson Street and New Suffolk Ave., New Suffolk.
Tickets are $60 and can be purchased online.
All proceeds support the restoration and revitalization of the New Suffolk Waterfront.
