Merliance’s ongoing wine salon series “Mostly Merlot: Long Island’s Signature Wines” makes a stop at McCall Wines this Saturday (June 22) at 5pm.

Each session is led by a different Merliance winemaker who will bring his unique perspective to a discussion about why merlot and merlot blends are the signature wines of the region.

For this weekend’s salon, McCall Wines winemaker Russ McCall will lead attendees through a tasting of seven merlots and blends, including the new 2010 cooperative blend of merlot made by Merliance and will compare them to other regions that are renowned for merlot.

Seating is limited for these programs, so please RSVP by calling 631-734-5764 for the McCall salon. If you’d like to attend three or more programs in the series, email [email protected] to reserve your seats!
