Worlds away from the bright lights of New York City, the stars shine without inference on the North Fork, making it the perfect place unwind with a glass vino on a warm (pre) summer evening.
Now in its fourth year, One Woman Wines & Vineyards’ Tasting Under the Stars is a perfectly pretty and much-needed escape held every Saturday.
Lit by candlelight, the evening invites guests to set up their own lawn chairs or blankets and gaze out at the night sky while sipping on the vineyard’s locally grown wines.
The event features an outdoor movie, a telescope and a bonfire. Yummy treats like s’mores will also be available for purchase.
The free weekly event is hosted every Saturday, weather permitting, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. through October 12 at One Woman Wines & Vineyards, 5195 Old North Road, Southold.
Reservations are only allowed for Wine Club members.
